Michael has been involved in Health & Safety leadership capacities since 1982, when he proudly served in the United States Air Force. As a long-time safety program management and development director, Michael has continuously been at the forefront of the safety profession. He has extensive experience providing leadership and oversight for safety program development and/or safety program improvement strategies.
Michael’s strengths include: strategic planning, human resource policy consolidation, integrated safety reviews, safety management systems, loss/trend analysis, program development, behavioral based safety, root cause investigation, Kaisan Safety Systems Techniques and OSHA Voluntary Protection Program administration.
Michael holds copyrights on two recognized hazard recognition and behavior conditioning safety processes titled ISP (Intentional Safety Process) and SPM (Safety Performance Management).SPM is effectively utilized by one of the world’s largest construction companies and a highly regarded Oilfield Service Company.
