In 2015, Cascade founded the ELITE Program to highlight talent throughout the organization and to implement a Hall of Fame for
our best employees. Those who are recognized each year demonstrate not only exceptional work performance, but also a
commitment to safety, skill, leadership, performance and accountability.
How Are ELITE Honorees Selected?
At the end of each calendar year, nominations can be made by anyone from executive leadership to managers to co-workers. The submissions are aggregated in December, then scored by senior leadership through two rounds before ultimately resulting in a final class of ELITE honorees. Announcements are typically made in January or February of the following year.
What Does It Mean to Be Named to an ELITE Class?
To be nominated for the ELITE program is an honor, as it means your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated by your supervisor and peers. Those who are selected in the final round for the next ELITE class will serve a two-year term on the Cascade ELITE Commission, which is charged with providing recommendations regarding operations, safety procedures, company strategy, and other related issues. As top performing employees, we recognize they have valuable insight into ways we can improve on-site, operationally, or even at a corporate level.
We also highlight honorees on our website, and with commemorative plaques hung in our corporate office.
How Many ELITE Classes Have There Been?
Since the program was founded in 2015, we have had three inductions.
We are proud to partner with several sponsors who share our commitment to safety and excellence. Special thanks to our flagship sponsor, Hole Products.
