Cascade developed a strong reputation for safety, service and reliability with a particular emphasis on traditional drilling technologies: auger, rotary and direct push. From these humble roots the company has grown into a national, full service company offering innovation solutions for every step of your project from environmental and geotechnical drilling to advanced site characterization and both in situ and ex situ remediation applications. 1991 - CASCADE DRILLING, L.P. IS FOUNDED IN SEATTLE, WA
Cascade Drilling, L.P. opens its very first office in Seattle, WA with five employees. The company focused on auger drilling for environmental and geotechnical applications in the Pacific Northwest.
1994 - CASCADE OPENS SECOND OFFICE IN PORTLAND, OR
Cascade opens an office in Portland, OR.
1995 - CASCADE OPENS THIRD OFFICE INTO LOS ANGELES
Cascade expands into the Western U.S. as they open another new office in Los Angeles, CA.
2000 - CASCADE EXPANDS INTO SACRAMENTO, CA
Cascade continues its expansion when they establish a new office in Sacramento, CA
2013 - CASCADE ACQUIRES BOART LONGYEAR’S ENVIRONMENTAL AND INFRASTRUCTURE DIVSION
Cascade doubles in size with the acquisition of Boart Longyear’s Environmental and Infrastructure Division. The addition significantly increases Cascade’s sonic drilling capabilities nationwide.
2014 - CASCADE ACQUIRES ZEBRA, ADDING HIGH RESOLUTION SITE CHARACTERIZATION
Cascade expands services to include high resolution site characterization with the acquisition of Zebra Technical Services, known on the East Coast for its expertise in direct push drilling, in situ remediation and for their forward looking technologies. The Zebra acquisition fortifies Cascade Drilling's ability to provide safe, technically advanced direct push and auger drilling services on the Eastern Seaboard and beyond.
2015 - SNOW PHIPPS GROUP PURCHASES CASCADE. CASCADE COMPLETES SEVEN ACQUISITIONS
Snow Phipps Group purchases Cascade in early 2015 and a busy year ensues as Cascade completes six acquisitions including Vironex Environmental Field Services, Inc., TerraTherm, Inc., ARS Technologies, Inc., Aquifer Drilling & Testing, Sonic Drilling Services, Diversified Geophysics, Inc., and the Field Services Division of Terra Sonic International. With these acquisitions, Cascade once again doubled its workforce and significantly increased its fleet of drill rigs, site investigation and characterization tools and remediation equipment.
2016 - 25th ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW BRAND AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE IN ADDITION TO FIVE ACQUISITIONS
Cascade marks its 25th Anniversary with the launch of its new brand and organizational structure. Cascade Environmental provides a full range of environmental investigation, drilling and remediation services and technologies. Known in the marketplace simply as Cascade, the organization is comprised of two primary operation companies (Cascade Drilling and Cascade Technical Services) and a number of subsidiaries. Cascade continues its geographic and service expansion with the acquisition of the Field Services Division of Stone Environmental and Current Environmental Solutions (CES), Panther Technologies, GeoSierra Environmental and Alliance Maintenance & Services.
