Ed Zielanski, PE, is the Vice President of Operations at Cascade for the Civil & Environmental Construction division based in Westampton, NJ. He has proven technical, project management, and leadership experience from his 25+ year career in environmental consulting, capital project delivery, and remediation contracting. A career path that led him through all sides of the “Consultant-Client-Contractor” triangle gave Ed insight into each stakeholder’s perspective during project delivery.
His education in geotechnical, geosynthetics, and civil engineering was invaluable in developing technical and project management skills in brownfield redevelopment, landfill design and construction, impacted soil and sediment management, and ex-situ and in situ soil stabilization (ISS) and treatment. In addition, a wide interest in construction and remediation techniques has allowed Ed to develop creative and resourceful solutions to project challenges.
At Cascade, Ed guides a team of over 45 technical experts, project managers, construction managers, and field craft in the delivery of project excellence for private, commercial, industrial, and energy clients and in support other Cascade divisions. He is enthusiastic about staff development and mentoring; and has a keen ability to connect with all members of his team. Above all, Ed has the dedicated goal of leading them in safe, collaborative project delivery.
