Richard Mooney
EHS Trainer
Richard Mooney is an Environmental Health & Safety Trainer at Cascade Environmental, and has more than 20 years of experience in the drilling industry. He started his career as a driller assistant and worked his way up through the ranks—with a three-year intermission, when he worked with the military in places like Afghanistan, Iraq, Kenya and Djibouti.
In his current role, Richard provides online training to new hires, MSHA training courses, and seminars for internal staff about relevant state laws and guidance. He’s responsible for ensuring Cascade employees understand and are properly trained to comply with OSHA, DOT, MSHA and state water well regulations. Thanks to his efforts, field personnel know how to work safely, and his clients don’t have to worry about fines and delays associated with noncompliance.
